4 ingredient cheese and bacon rolls

Ingredients:

  1. 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  2. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  3. 6-8 slices of cooked bacon, chopped
  4. 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions:

    1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
    2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet into a rectangle.

  1. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the puff pastry sheet, leaving a small border around the edges.
  2. Spread the chopped cooked bacon over the cheese layer.
  3. Starting from one end, tightly roll up the puff pastry sheet into a log.
  4. Cut the log into slices, about 1 inch thick.
  5. Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them a few inches apart.
  6. Brush the tops of the rolls with beaten egg to give them a golden brown color when baked.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are puffed and golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
