Air Fryer Crack Bread

Air Fryer Crack Bread

1 loaf of your favorite bread (e.g., French bread, sourdough) 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted 2 cups shredded cheese (common choices include cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix of both) 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced (adjust to your taste) 1-2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) while you prepare the bread.
  2. Using a sharp knife, make cuts into the bread, making sure not to cut all the way through the loaf. You want to create deep slits in a crisscross pattern, creating small squares or rectangles.
  3. Mix the melted butter and minced garlic in a bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Carefully drizzle the garlic butter mixture into the slits of the bread, ensuring it gets into all the nooks and crannies.
  5. Stuff the shredded cheese into the slits, making sure to distribute it evenly.
  6. Place the stuffed bread into the preheated air fryer basket. You may want to use a piece of foil or a special air fryer rack to keep the cheese from falling into the basket and to make it easier to remove the bread when it’s done.
  7. Air fry the bread at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy and golden brown.
  8. Carefully remove the Air Fryer Crack Bread from the air fryer and sprinkle fresh parsley on top for added flavor and a pop of color.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. It’s best served warm so that the cheese remains gooey and irresistible.
  10. To enjoy, simply pull apart the bread along the cuts, and each piece will be a cheesy, garlicky delight.
