  • 1 tablespoon of Parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup of Italian seasoned Breadcrumbs
  • Salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste
  • 1½ cup of Marinara Sauce (or any tomato based sauce of choice)
  • INSTRUCTIONS

    1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, bread crumbs, an egg and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
    2. Using a 2 inch ice-cream scoop, shape the mixture into 15 meatballs.
    3. Place about 7 or 8 meatballs in the lightly greased or parchment lined air fryer basket, in a single layer. Lightly brush or spray the meatballs with oil.
    4. Air fry at 390 F for 8 minutes.
    5. Repeat with the remaining meatballs.
    6. While the meatballs are cooking, heat up the marinara sauce in a saucepan.
    7. Toss the air-fryed meatballs in the warm marinara.
    8. Serve hot with a side of your favorite bread or over cooked spaghetti, or steamed rice, or zoodles (for a low carb option).
