Air Fryer Taco Bombs

Air Fryer Taco Bombs

Air Fryer Taco Bombs will give your families taco night a kick! They come out crunchy on the outside with a savory, gooey cheese center.

EQUIPMENT

  • 1 Air Fryer

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can refrigerated canned biscuits
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 24 cubes cheddar cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

    • Cook ground beef on medium high heat. Add seasonings and cook until meat is browned.
    • While meat is cooking open biscuits and separate dough. Lightly roll biscuit flat.
  • Next spoon a tablespoon of cooked taco meat mixture onto roll, then top with cheese. Pull dough up and over meat and cheese mixture. Pinch sides to completely seal mixture inside of dough ball.
  • Place bombs in air fryer basket, in a single layer that has been lightly sprayed with non-stick cooking spray or lined with parchment paper.
  • Air fry at 350 degrees F for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Serve while hot with salsa or your favorite sauce for dipping.

NOTES

Shredded cheddar cheese can work well for this recipe, but to avoid a bit of cheese leak in the basket, cutting a small cheese cube helps keep it in the biscuit dough.

If the dough is not sealing completely around filling mixture you can gently brush the sides with a bit of water or egg wash (a beaten egg). This will help ensure dough is fully sealed and filling does not leak out. Brush with melted butter to get them golden brown and extra crispy.
