BRUSSELS SPROUTS in AIRFRYER

BRUSSELS SPROUTS in AIRFRYER

Ingredients:

  • Brussels sprouts
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (or your preferred seasonings)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Brussels sprouts:
    • Wash the Brussels sprouts and trim the stem ends.
    • Cut the Brussels sprouts in half for even cooking. If they are very large, you may want to quarter them.
  2. Season the Brussels sprouts:
    • In a bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with a drizzle of olive oil. Use just enough to coat them lightly, as the air fryer doesn’t require much oil.
    • Season with salt and pepper or any other seasonings you like. You can get creative with seasonings like garlic powder, paprika, or parmesan cheese.
  3. Preheat the air fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). This usually takes 2-3 minutes.
  4. Air fry the Brussels sprouts:
    • Once the air fryer is preheated, place the seasoned Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Don’t overcrowd the basket; you may need to cook them in batches if you have a lot.
    • Cook the Brussels sprouts for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket or tossing them halfway through to ensure even cooking. Cooking times may vary based on the size and quantity of your Brussels sprouts and the specific air fryer model. They are ready when they are tender on the inside and crispy and brown on the outside.
  5. Serve:
    • Remove the Brussels sprouts from the air fryer and serve them immediately. You can add additional seasonings or a drizzle of balsamic vinegar or lemon juice for extra flavor if you like.
