Carnivore Baked Chicken Nuggets

✨ Recipe Ingredients
1 can Chicken Breast (drained) –
1/3 cup Shredded Mozzarella
1 Egg (large)
3 1/2 tablespoons Grated Parmesan
Your Favorite Seasonings (smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper)
Carnivore Mayo (for dipping)

Step 1

Start by preheating the oven to 425°F and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Drain the canned chicken. I recommend placing it in a fine-mesh strainer and squeezing out as much water as you can.

Step 3

Place the chicken in a large bowl. Add the egg, parmesan, mozzarella, and seasonings. Mix well.

Step 4

Create bite-sized nuggets with your hands. Place them on the baking sheet.

Step 5

Bake for 18-20 minutes, and don’t forget to flip halfway through. Then, remove them from the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Tips
1. Let The Mixture Rest
After you’ve mixed all the ingredients together, I recommend letting the mixture sit in the fridge for about 15-30 minutes before shaping the nuggets.

This gives the cheese a chance to start binding with the chicken, which can make the mixture easier to work with.

It also allows the flavors to meld together a bit more. If you’re in a hurry, you can skip this step, but if you have the time, it can make the process of shaping the nuggets easier and improve the flavor.

2. Don’t Overcrowd The Baking Sheet
When you’re placing the nuggets on the baking sheet, make sure to leave some space between each one.

If the nuggets are too close together, they won’t crisp up as well. The hot air needs to be able to circulate around each nugget for them to get crispy on all sides.

If your baking sheet is too small for all the nuggets, it’s better to bake them in two batches rather than crowding them all onto one sheet.

This might take a bit more time, but your nuggets will turn out much better. Trust me.. it’s worth it.

3. Let Them Cool Before Eating
Letting them cool for about 10 minutes after baking is important. During this time, the nuggets will firm up a bit more.

Also, they will be easier to handle and less likely to fall apart when you pick them up. This cooling time also allows the flavors to settle.
