Carnivore Protein Burger

Carnivore Protein Burger

✨ Recipe Ingredients
7 oz Ground Beef
1/2 Chicken Breast
Salt (to taste)
2 oz Cheddar Cheese
1 Egg (large)
Butter
Additional Cheese for Melting
1 slice of Bacon

Step 1

Prepare the buns: Cook and finely chop a chicken breast. Then, mix it in a bowl with salt, cheddar cheese, and egg. Form into two buns and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Step 2

Bake for 20 minutes at 400°F.

Step 3

Cook the burger patty: Form a patty and cook it in butter. Then you can melt additional cheese on top of the patty.

Step 4

Cook the bacon: Prepare a slice of bacon in a pan until crispy.

Step 5

Assemble and serve: Once the buns are out of the oven and cooled, assemble the burger – place the beef patty and bacon between the chicken buns. I also recommend adding carnivore mayo. Enjoy!

💡Tips
1. Don’t Skip The Cooling Time
After baking the chicken buns, let them cool completely before using them. This usually takes about 10-15 minutes. When they first come out of the oven, they’ll be quite soft and fragile. During cooling, they firm up.

If you try to handle them while they’re hot, they might break apart or lose their shape. Place them on a wire rack if you have one – this helps them cool evenly and prevents the bottom from getting soggy from trapped steam.

2. Watch The Bun Thickness
When forming your chicken buns, aim for about 1/2 inch thickness and try to make them as even as possible.

If they’re too thick, the outside might brown too much before the inside is fully cooked. If they’re too thin, they might not be sturdy enough to hold your burger. Use the back of a spoon or your palm to flatten them gently on the parchment paper.

Make sure the edges aren’t too thin compared to the center – this helps prevent burning and ensures even cooking.
