Cherry Cheesecake Jars

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling (store-bought or homemade)
  • Fresh cherries for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Graham Cracker Crust:
    • In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.
  2. Assemble the Base:
    • Spoon a layer of the graham cracker mixture into the bottom of each jar to create the crust. Press down gently to form an even layer.
  3. Prepare Cheesecake Filling:
    • In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, then continue to beat until well combined and creamy.
  4. Layer Cheesecake Filling:
    • Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the graham cracker crust in the jars, creating a smooth layer.
  5. Add Cherry Pie Filling:
    • Spoon a layer of cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese layer in each jar.
  6. Repeat Layers:
    • Repeat the layers by adding another layer of graham cracker crumbs, followed by the cream cheese mixture, and then cherry pie filling.
  7. Garnish:
    • Garnish the top with a dollop of cherry pie filling and, if desired, a fresh cherry.
  8. Chill:
    • Refrigerate the jars for at least 2-3 hours or until the cheesecake is set.
  9. Serve:
    • Serve the Cherry Cheesecake Jars chilled and enjoy!
