1½ cups All-purpose Flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoons salt
Few grains pepper
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon sugar
2 egg yolks, well-beaten
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 cup cream-style corn
Mix first 7 ingredients together and beat until smooth. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Fold in corn. Use only 1 tablespoon batter per fritter and drop into hot fat. Fry as directed. Serve hot. Delicious with maple syrup.
