East No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares

Ingredients:

For the Base:
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the Chocolate Topping:
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Base:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, creamy peanut butter, and melted unsalted butter. Mix until well combined.
  2. Press into Pan:
    • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a lined or greased square baking pan. Ensure an even layer.
  3. Melt Chocolate Topping:
    • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter together. Microwave in 20-30 second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth.
  4. Pour Chocolate over Base:
    • Pour the melted chocolate-peanut butter mixture over the prepared base, spreading it evenly.
  5. Chill:
    • Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2-3 hours or until the chocolate topping has set.
  6. Cut into Squares:
    • Once set, lift the chilled mixture out of the pan using the edges of the parchment paper. Place it on a cutting board and cut into squares.
