Ingredients

For the Marinated Cheese:

  • 8 oz cheddar cheese (or Monterey Jack), cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the Appetizer:

  • 4 oz salami slices, cut into halves or quarters
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup green or black olives (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

For Serving:

  • Toothpicks or small skewers

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Marinated Cheese
