Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

1/2 head of cabbage, chopped

1 medium onion, chopped

2-3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)

1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil (or any cooking oil)
Optional Add-ins:

Crushed red pepper for heat

A splash of vinegar or lemon juice for tang

Cooked rice or noodles to bulk it up

Shredded carrots or bell peppers for color and sweetness
Instructions:

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

Add the ground beef, breaking it apart as it browns. Cook until no longer pink.

Stir in chopped cabbage. Cook for 7–10 minutes, stirring often, until cabbage is tender and slightly browned.

Add soy sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well and cook for another 1–2 minutes.

Serve hot, on its own or over rice.
