Ingredients

  • 1 pound broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1 rotisserie chicken (shredded)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 390°F (200°C).

  2. Cook the Broccoli:
    Place a saucepan of water over high heat and bring to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and cook until al dente. Drain well and add them to a large mixing bowl with the shredded chicken.

  3. Make the Sauce:
    In a small saucepan, add cream cheese, heavy cream, almond milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Place over low heat and whisk until the sauce is smooth.

  4. Combine:
    Pour the warm sauce over the broccoli and chicken mixture, add chopped basil, and mix well.

    Pour the mixture into a casserole dish and top with the shredded cheddar cheese.

  6. Bake:
