
KETO DEEP DISH MEAT LASAGNA
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef (or Italian sausage)
- 1 cup marinara sauce (look for a low-carb option or make your own)
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: sliced vegetables like zucchini or eggplant for layering

Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef (or Italian sausage) until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Prepare the Cheese Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, half of the Parmesan cheese, the egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
- Layer the Lasagna: In a deep-dish pie plate or baking dish, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom. Place a layer of cooked meat on top of the sauce. Add a layer of the cheese mixture over the meat. If you’re using sliced vegetables, you can add them between layers as well. Repeat the layers until you’ve used all your ingredients, finishing with a layer of cheese on top.
- Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Broil: Remove the foil and broil for an additional 3-5 minutes until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
- Serve: Allow the lasagna to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
