- 1 cup (240g) ricotta cheese
- 1 cup (240g) sour cream
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup (100g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 zucchini, thinly sliced or spiralized
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:
- Prepare the Meat Sauce:
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
- Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.
- Add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well.
- Reduce heat and let the sauce simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Prepare the Casserole Base:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, sour cream, and egg. Mix until well blended.
