Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80% lean is ideal)
  • 1/2 lb ground pork (optional, but adds flavor and juiciness)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • For the Topping:
    • 1/4 cup sugar-free marinara sauce
    • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a loaf pan.
  2. Prepare the Meat Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork (if using), Parmesan cheese, almond flour, grated mozzarella, egg, heavy cream, chopped onion, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
