Ingredients (Serves 4)
✅ 4 large portobello mushrooms, stems removed
✅ 1 lb (450g) thinly sliced beef sirloin or ribeye steak
✅ 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
✅ 1 yellow or red bell pepper, thinly sliced
✅ 1 large onion, thinly sliced
✅ 2 tbsp olive oil
✅ 1 tbsp butter (or coconut oil for dairy-free)
✅ 1 tsp garlic powder
✅ 1 tsp onion powder
✅ Salt & pepper, to taste
✅ 4 slices provolone cheese (or any keto-friendly cheese)
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat & Prepare Mushrooms
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Clean portobello mushrooms by wiping them with a damp paper towel.
- Remove stems and scoop out the gills to create space for the filling.
2️⃣ Cook the Beef
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear thinly sliced beef until cooked to desired doneness.
