Strawberry bombs


  • 1 pound fresh strawberries
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Graham cracker crumbs or crushed vanilla wafers for coating
  • Icing sugar for garnishing


  1. Wash the strawberries and remove the stems. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  3. Take a strawberry and use a small paring knife to make a small vertical cut from the pointed end towards the stem end, without cutting all the way through. Repeat with the remaining strawberries.
  4. Gently spread open each strawberry and stuff it with the cream cheese mixture using a small spoon or a piping bag.
  5. Once all the strawberries are stuffed, roll each one in graham cracker crumbs or crushed vanilla wafers, coating the cream cheese filling.
  6. Place the coated strawberries on a platter or serving dish.
  7. Sprinkle icing sugar .
  8. Chill the Strawberry Bombs in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
