Vegan banana ice cream,
made with frozen banana and some chopped dark chocolate
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
- 1/4 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk of your choice)
Instructions:
- Place the sliced bananas on a tray lined with parchment paper and freeze them for at least 2 hours, or until frozen solid.
- Once the bananas are frozen, add them to a food processor or blender along with the almond milk.
- Blend the bananas and almond milk on high until the mixture becomes creamy and smooth. This may take a few minutes, so be patient.
- Add the dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate and pulse a few times until they are evenly distributed throughout the ice cream.
- Serve the banana ice cream immediately, or transfer it to a container with a lid and freeze for later.
Optional: You can also add other toppings or flavors to the ice cream, such as nuts, fruits, or spices. Enjoy!
