1 sweet potato
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Optional toppings: chopped nuts, vegan butter, cinnamon, maple syrup, or any other desired toppings
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Rinse and scrub the sweet potato, then pat it dry with a towel.
Cut the sweet potato in half lengthwise.
Place the sweet potato halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Drizzle the olive oil over the sweet potato halves, then sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the sweet potato is tender and easily pierced with a fork.
Remove the sweet potato halves from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
Add any desired toppings, such as chopped nuts, vegan butter, cinnamon, or maple syrup.
