Ingredients
1 1/2 cup vital wheat gluten
3/4 cup cold water
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
2 tbsp Braggs (assuming aminos) or soy sauce
2 tsp liquid smoke
2 tsp mustard powder
2 tsp paprika
1 1/2 tsp crushed fennel
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cayenne
1/2 tsp crushed anise seed
1/2 tsp sugar
2 tsp tomato paste (or ketchup)
Steam for 90 minutes
wrap logs in foil
Makes 4 logs

Mix together the dry ingredients, then add the wet ingredients all at once. Will form a very thick dough. Hand kneed it just long enough to incorporate everything and divide dough, form logs, wrap tightly in foil, and steam
