Ingredients:
- 2 salmon fillets (6-8 ounces each)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). This typically takes about 2-3 minutes.
- Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. This helps the seasonings adhere better and prevents excess moisture in the air fryer.
- Season the Salmon: In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Brush or rub this mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets. Make sure the salmon is well coated with the seasoning.
- Air Fry the Salmon: Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down (if your fillets have skin). Cook at 400°F for about 8-10 minutes. The cooking time may vary slightly depending on the thickness of your salmon fillets. Salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork and has an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Serve: Once the salmon is cooked to perfection, remove it from the air fryer. You can squeeze some fresh lemon juice over the top for added flavor if desired. Serve the air-fried salmon with your favorite side dishes like steamed vegetables, rice, or a salad.
