2-Ingredient Weight Watchers Pineapple Angel Food Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 box (1-step) angel food cake mix (I used Betty Crocker)
  • 1 large can (about 20 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, stir together the dry angel food cake mix and the entire can of crushed pineapple with its juice. Stir well until all the dry mix is incorporated. The mixture will get really foamy.
  3. Prepare Baking Pan: Lightly grease a 9×13-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  4. Pour Batter: Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake: Bake at 350°F for the time specified on the cake mix box for the size of the pan. The cake is done when the sides pull away from the pan and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. This should take between 30 and 40 minutes.
  6. Cool: Remove the cake from the oven and place it on a wire rack to cool.
