Air Fryer Bacon and Eggs

Ingredients:

  • Bacon strips
  • Eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Herbs, cheese, or other toppings of your choice

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for a few minutes.
  2. Prepare the Bacon:
    • Lay out the bacon strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cut the bacon strips in half to fit them properly.
  3. Air Fry the Bacon:
    • Cook the bacon in the air fryer for about 8-10 minutes, flipping the strips halfway through. The exact time may vary depending on your air fryer model and the thickness of the bacon, so keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
  4. Prepare the Eggs:
    • While the bacon is cooking, crack the eggs into a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. You can also add herbs or cheese if desired.
  5. Add Eggs to Air Fryer:
    • Once the bacon is cooked to your liking, remove the basket and create small wells in the bacon using a spoon or spatula. Carefully pour the cracked eggs into these wells.
  6. Return to Air Fryer:
    • Place the basket back into the air fryer. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes or until the eggs reach your desired level of doneness. Keep an eye on the eggs to avoid overcooking the yolks if you prefer them runny.
  7. Serve:
    • Carefully remove the bacon and eggs from the air fryer. Serve the bacon and eggs hot, and feel free to add any additional toppings or garnishes of your choice.
