Air Fryer Banana Bread

Air Fryer Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 5 minutes. Depending on your air fryer model, you may not need to preheat, but it can help with even cooking.
  2. Grease and line a pan: Use a pan or dish that fits inside your air fryer basket. You can use a loaf pan or any other oven-safe dish that fits. Grease the pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  3. Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl. The riper the bananas, the sweeter your banana bread will be.
  4. Add the melted butter and mix until well combined.
  5. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients: Mix the flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and mix until the batter is just combined. Do not overmix; you want a tender banana bread.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  9. Place the pan in the air fryer basket and cook at 320°F (160°C) for 30-35 minutes. Cooking times may vary based on your air fryer’s brand and model, so check the bread’s doneness by inserting a toothpick in the center. It should come out clean when the banana bread is done.
  10. Let the banana bread cool for a few minutes in the pan, then remove it from the pan and let it cool on a wire rack.
  11. Slice and enjoy! Serve your air fryer banana bread warm or at room temperature.
