Ingredients:
For the Salmon:
- 2 salmon fillets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Bang Bang Sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce (adjust to your preferred level of spiciness)
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for a few minutes.
- Prepare the Salmon: Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and season them with salt and pepper.
- Cook the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket or on the air fryer tray, making sure they are not overcrowded. Cook the salmon for 10-12 minutes, or until it’s cooked to your desired level of doneness. The cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of your salmon fillets.
- Prepare the Bang Bang Sauce: While the salmon is cooking, make the Bang Bang sauce. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, honey, Sriracha sauce, lime juice, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix well until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Serve: Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the air fryer. Place the salmon fillets on a serving platter or individual plates. Drizzle the Bang Bang sauce over the salmon or serve it on the side as a dipping sauce.
- Garnish: You can garnish the dish with some chopped fresh cilantro, green onions, or sesame seeds for added flavor and presentation.
