Air fryer Crab Rangoon Egg Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 8 egg roll wrappers
  • 8 oz crab meat (canned or imitation)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Cooking spray or olive oil for spraying

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crab meat, chopped green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until all the ingredients are well combined.
  2. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, with one corner pointing towards you (like a diamond shape).
  3. Place about 2-3 tablespoons of the crab and cream cheese mixture in the center of the wrapper, forming a horizontal line.
  4. Fold the corner closest to you over the filling, then fold in the left and right corners.
  5. Roll the wrapper away from you while tucking in the sides to form a tight roll. Use a little water on the top corner to seal the egg roll. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  6. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for a few minutes.
  7. Lightly spray the prepared egg rolls with cooking spray or brush them with a small amount of olive oil. This will help them get crispy in the air fryer.
  8. Place the egg rolls in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching and have some space between them. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  9. Cook the egg rolls in the air fryer for about 10-12 minutes, turning them halfway through, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  10. Remove the egg rolls from the air fryer, let them cool for a few minutes, and then serve them with your favorite dipping sauce, such as sweet and sour sauce or sweet chili sauce.
