1 loaf of your favorite bread (e.g., French bread, sourdough) 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted 2 cups shredded cheese (common choices include cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix of both) 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced (adjust to your taste) 1-2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) while you prepare the bread.
- Using a sharp knife, make cuts into the bread, making sure not to cut all the way through the loaf. You want to create deep slits in a crisscross pattern, creating small squares or rectangles.
- Mix the melted butter and minced garlic in a bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Carefully drizzle the garlic butter mixture into the slits of the bread, ensuring it gets into all the nooks and crannies.
- Stuff the shredded cheese into the slits, making sure to distribute it evenly.
- Place the stuffed bread into the preheated air fryer basket. You may want to use a piece of foil or a special air fryer rack to keep the cheese from falling into the basket and to make it easier to remove the bread when it’s done.
- Air fry the bread at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy and golden brown.
- Carefully remove the Air Fryer Crack Bread from the air fryer and sprinkle fresh parsley on top for added flavor and a pop of color.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. It’s best served warm so that the cheese remains gooey and irresistible.
- To enjoy, simply pull apart the bread along the cuts, and each piece will be a cheesy, garlicky delight.
