AIR FRYER DRY RUB RIBS
Ingredients:
- 1 rack of pork ribs
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste for spice level)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- BBQ sauce (optional, for serving)
Instructions:
- Prepare the dry rub by combining brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cumin, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl. Mix well.
- Pat the rack of ribs dry with paper towels. Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs if it’s still attached.
- Rub the olive oil all over the ribs, then generously coat the ribs with the dry rub mixture. Make sure to cover the ribs on all sides with the seasoning.
- Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
- Once the air fryer is preheated, place the seasoned ribs in the air fryer basket, meaty side up. You may need to cut the rack of ribs in half to fit them into the basket, depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook the ribs in the air fryer for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time, until they are cooked through and the internal temperature reaches at least 145°F (63°C). Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the ribs and the specific model of air fryer.
- Once the ribs are cooked, remove them from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing them into individual ribs.
- Serve the air fryer dry rub ribs with your favorite BBQ sauce on the side for dipping, if desired.
