AIr fryer Garlic Butter Mushrooms

AIr fryer Garlic Butter Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (450g) button mushrooms, cleaned and quartered
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil spray (for greasing the air fryer basket)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. While the air fryer is preheating, clean the mushrooms. You can use a damp cloth or paper towel to gently wipe off any dirt or debris from the mushrooms. Cut them into quarters.
  3. In a bowl, mix the melted butter and minced garlic. You can adjust the amount of garlic according to your taste. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Place the quartered mushrooms in a separate bowl and drizzle them with a bit of olive oil to prevent sticking to the air fryer basket. Toss the mushrooms to ensure they’re coated evenly with the oil.
  5. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the mushrooms and toss to coat them thoroughly.
  6. Lightly grease the air fryer basket with olive oil spray to prevent sticking.
  7. Place the garlic butter-coated mushrooms into the preheated air fryer basket. Make sure they’re in a single layer for even cooking.
  8. Cook the mushrooms in the air fryer for about 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket or tossing the mushrooms halfway through. The cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer model, so keep an eye on them. The mushrooms are done when they are tender and golden brown.
  9. Once done, remove the mushrooms from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving dish.
  10. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and extra flavor.
  11. Serve your air fryer garlic butter mushrooms hot as a side dish or appetizer. They pair well with grilled meats, pasta, or as a topping for steaks or baked potatoes.
