Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. This will be your marinade and glaze.
- Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or a bowl. Pour half of the honey Dijon mixture over the chicken. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (longer is even better, if time allows).
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and shake off the excess. You can save the remaining marinade for basting during cooking.
- Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching. Cook for 15-20 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway through.
- About 5 minutes before the chicken is done, brush it with some of the reserved honey Dijon glaze. Be sure to cook the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) to ensure it’s fully cooked.
- Once the chicken is cooked through and has a beautiful golden-brown color, remove it from the air fryer.
- Serve the air fryer honey Dijon chicken with your favorite side dishes, such as steamed vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad. You can also drizzle some more of the honey Dijon glaze over the chicken for added flavor.
