Air Fryer Potato & Sausage

Air Fryer Potato & Sausage

Ingredients:

  • 2 large potatoes, washed and diced into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 4-6 sausages (any type you prefer, such as Italian, bratwurst, or chicken sausage)
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: chopped fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme for extra flavor

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for a few minutes to ensure it’s nice and hot.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced potatoes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together until the potatoes are well-coated with the seasoning.
  3. Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket. Make sure they’re spread out in an even layer to ensure they cook evenly. If your air fryer is small, you might need to do this in batches.
  4. Cook the potatoes at 400°F (200°C) for about 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket or stirring the potatoes halfway through to ensure they cook evenly. The exact cooking time can vary depending on your air fryer and the size of the potato cubes. They should be golden and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside when done.
  5. While the potatoes are cooking, you can prepare the sausages. You can either cook them in the air fryer or separately in a pan on the stovetop. To air fry sausages, place them in the air fryer basket and cook at 400°F (200°C) for 10-15 minutes, turning them halfway through.
  6. Once the sausages and potatoes are both cooked and ready, serve them together on a plate. If you want to add some fresh herbs, sprinkle them on top for extra flavor.
