Ingredients:

  • Eggs (as many as you’d like)
  • Salt and pepper (optional, for seasoning)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 250°F (120°C). The lower temperature helps to cook the eggs more gently.
  2. Place the Eggs: Arrange the eggs in the air fryer basket. Make sure not to overcrowd them, so they cook evenly.
  3. Cooking Time: Cook the eggs in the preheated air fryer for 12-15 minutes. The exact time may vary depending on your air fryer model and the size of the eggs. You may need to experiment a bit to find the perfect timing for your preference of soft-boiled eggs.
  4. Cooling and Peeling: Once the eggs are done, carefully transfer them to a bowl of ice water using tongs or a slotted spoon. Let them cool for a few minutes to stop the cooking process.
  5. Peel the Eggs: Gently tap each egg on a hard surface to crack the shell, then peel the shell off. You can do this under running water to help remove any remaining shell fragments.
  6. Season and Serve: Sprinkle the soft-boiled eggs with salt and pepper, if desired. Serve them immediately as a snack, on toast, or as a topping for salads.
