Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: If you’re roasting or grilling the zucchini, preheat the oven to around 400°F (200°C) or heat the grill.
- Prepare the Zucchini: Wash the zucchini thoroughly and cut off the ends. You can slice them into rounds, cut them lengthwise, or into sticks, depending on how you’d like to cook them.
- Brush with Oil: Pour a small amount of olive oil or avocado oil onto a plate or bowl. Using a pastry brush, lightly brush both sides of the zucchini slices with the oil. If you don’t have a brush, you can also drizzle the oil over the zucchini and rub it in with your hands.
- Season (Optional): For extra flavor, you can sprinkle some salt, pepper, garlic powder, or any seasoning you like. You can also add some grated Parmesan cheese for extra fat and flavor.
- Cook: If roasting, place the zucchini on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden and tender, flipping halfway through. If grilling, cook for about 3-5 minutes per side, depending on thickness.
