Carnivore Butter Burgers
✨ Recipe Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds Ground Beef
4 oz Colby Jack cheese (slice into 10 pieces)
4 tablespoons Butter (slice into 10 pieces)
Salt (to taste)
Black Pepper (to taste) –
Optional: Garlic Powder, Onion Powder to taste (omit for strict carnivore version)
👨🍳 How To Make
Follow this easy recipe to make the best carnivore butter burgers:
Step 1
Mix ground beef with salt, pepper, and any other desired seasonings in a bowl.
Step 2
Divide the seasoned beef into 10 portions and shape each into a patty. Place a piece of cheese and a small piece of butter in the center of each patty, then seal the fillings inside by forming the meat around them.
Step 3
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter.
Step 4
Fry the stuffed patties until cooked to your preferred doneness, being careful not to overcook. I also like adding grated cheese on top and allowing it to melt.
Step 5
Serve and enjoy your cheese-and-butter-stuffed burgers!
💡Tips
1. Get the Temperature Right
For the best results, let your pan or grill heat up before you start cooking. A medium heat is usually best for these burgers. If the heat is too high, the outside will burn before the inside is cooked.
Remember, these burgers have cheese and butter inside, so they might flare up if you’re cooking on a grill. Keep a close eye on them and move them if needed.

2. Let Them Rest
After cooking, let the burgers rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, making for a juicier burger.
If you cut into them right away, a lot of the juices will run out onto the plate. Not what we want.
You can tent some foil over them to keep them warm while they rest. About 3-5 minutes should be enough. This is a good time to prepare any sides or toppings you might want with your burgers.
