Crustless Pizza Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce (sugar-free, keto-friendly)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked Italian sausage, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup chopped black olives
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Assemble the Pizza Bowl:
    • In an oven-safe bowl or small casserole dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom.
    • Sprinkle a generous layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
    • Layer your favorite pizza toppings: cooked Italian sausage, pepperoni slices, bell peppers, mushrooms, and black olives.
    • Sprinkle a little more cheese on top, and season with Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes if desired.
  3. Bake: Place the bowl in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  4. Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and enjoy warm.
