Ingredients:
- 1 cup broccoli florets, steamed or blanched
- 1 cup cooked ham, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk (whole milk or a milk alternative)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- Cooking spray or butter for greasing the baking dish
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a pie dish or quiche pan with cooking spray or butter.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and any optional herbs or spices.
- Arrange the steamed or blanched broccoli florets and diced ham evenly in the greased pie dish.
- Pour the egg mixture over the broccoli and ham, making sure to cover them evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
- Allow the quiche to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
