Crustless Quiche with Broccoli and Ham

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup broccoli florets, steamed or blanched
  • 1 cup cooked ham, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk (whole milk or a milk alternative)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing the baking dish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a pie dish or quiche pan with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and any optional herbs or spices.
  3. Arrange the steamed or blanched broccoli florets and diced ham evenly in the greased pie dish.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the broccoli and ham, making sure to cover them evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Allow the quiche to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
