Easy Air Fryer Burgers

Easy Air Fryer Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef (80% lean is a good choice for juicy burgers)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Burger buns
  • Optional toppings like cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and condiments

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. While the air fryer is preheating, divide the ground beef into equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Make sure they’re about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick. Season both sides of each patty with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the burger patties in the air fryer basket, ensuring they’re not too crowded to allow proper air circulation. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  4. Cook the burgers in the preheated air fryer for about 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through. For medium-rare burgers, aim for an internal temperature of around 135°F (57°C), and for medium, aim for 145°F (63°C). Adjust the cooking time to your desired level of doneness.
  5. If you’re adding cheese to your burgers, place a slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking, then close the air fryer to allow it to melt.
  6. While the burgers are cooking, you can also toast your burger buns in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes if desired.
  7. Once the burgers are done, remove them from the air fryer and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  8. Assemble your burgers with your favorite toppings on the toasted buns.
  9. Serve your air fryer burgers hot, and enjoy!
