Haitian Griot Vegan Style


Season Jackfruit with.

•Smoked Paprika.
•Garlic Powder.
•Jerk Seasoning
•Badia Complete.
•Slap Ya Mama.
•Onion Powder.
•1 Tsp Ground Black Pepper.
•½ Tsp Better Than Bouillon Vegetable Base.

Produced Used.
•1-2 Cans Green Jackfruit.
•1Cup freshly squeezed Orange Juice.
•1½ Tbsp Lime Juice.
•3 Sprigs Thyme.
•Stalks Green Onion.
• Onion Finely Minced.
•½ Scotch Bonnet Pepper.
•120000000 Billion Cloves of Minced Garlic.

•Liquid Used.
•1Cup freshly squeezed Orange Juice.
•1½ Tbsp Lime Juice.
•2Tbsp Bragg’s Liquid Aminos. ( I used this instead of Worcestershire Sauce.)
•¼ Tsp Agave.
•1 Tbsp ACV.

Method: Season Jackfruit and let it marinate overnight.
•Heat 1 Tbsp Grapeseed Oil.
Once the oil is nice and hot.
Add Jackfruit allowing it to brown nicely all over.
Add minced Garlic, Onion, Thyme, Scotch Bonnet Pepper, Liquid Aminos and combine.
Add ¼ Tsp Agave, Orange & Lime juice and let it slow cook for an hour and you’re done.
