Homemade Crunch Wrap Supreme

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound lean ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 6 large flour tortillas
  • 6 tostada shells or crispy corn tortillas
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. Cook Ground Meat:
    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until fully browned. Drain any excess fat.
    • Add the taco seasoning mix and water according to the packet instructions. Simmer until the mixture thickens.
  2. Prepare Ingredients:
    • Dice tomatoes, shred lettuce, and gather the shredded cheddar cheese, nacho cheese sauce, and sour cream.
  3. Warm Tortillas:
    • Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Warm each flour tortilla for about 10-15 seconds on each side to make them pliable.
  4. Assemble Crunchwrap:
    • Place a warmed tortilla on a flat surface. In the center of the tortilla, add a spoonful of the seasoned meat.
    • Layer a tostada shell or crispy corn tortilla on top of the meat.
    • Add a spoonful of nacho cheese sauce, followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese.
    • Top with a dollop of sour cream.
  5. Fold and Seal:
    • To fold the crunchwrap, start by folding the edges of the flour tortilla towards the center, creating a hexagonal shape.
    • Press down on the center to seal the edges.
  6. Cook:
    • In the same skillet or griddle, place the assembled crunchwrap seam side down. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the tortilla is golden and crispy.
  7. Serve:
    • Remove from the skillet, cut in half if desired, and serve immediately.
