Ingredients:
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, egg, olive oil, salt, and any optional seasonings you’d like to add (garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, paprika). Mix until a dough forms.
- Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out thinly with a rolling pin. The thinner the dough, the crispier the chips will be.
- Remove the top sheet of parchment paper and transfer the rolled-out dough (still on the bottom parchment paper) onto a baking sheet.
- Use a sharp knife or a pizza cutter to cut the dough into desired chip shapes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Keep an eye on them, as almond flour can brown quickly.
- Remove from the oven and let the chips cool on the baking sheet. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.
- Once completely cool, you can break the chips apart and enjoy them on their own or with your favorite keto-friendly dip.
Feel free to customize the seasonings to your liking. These homemade keto tortilla chips are a great low-carb alternative to store-bought chips and can be a tasty snack for those following a ketogenic diet. Enjoy!
