Homemade Sweet Potato Pie

Ingredients:
1 unbaked pie crust
2 cups mashed sweet potatoes (about 3 medium sweet potatoes)
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Peel and cube the sweet potatoes, then boil them until tender. Drain and mash them until smooth.
In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, melted butter, white sugar, brown sugar, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix until well combined.
Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
Let the pie cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving.
