Homemade vegan donuts

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/4 cup vegan butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
For the glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2-3 tbsp unsweetened almond milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan with non-stick spray.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, combine almond milk, melted vegan butter, vanilla extract, and applesauce. Mix well.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each donut mold about 2/3 full.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the donut comes out clean.
Let the donuts cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
To make the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, almond milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Adjust the consistency by adding more powdered sugar or almond milk as needed.
Dip the cooled donuts into the glaze, then place them back on the wire rack to let the glaze set.
