Hot Lemon Pepper wet wings 🔥🔥

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

For Lemon Pepper Wet Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well.
  2. Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Place the wings in the bowl with the flour mixture and toss until they are well coated.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C). Carefully add the chicken wings to the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry them for about 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Make sure to cook the wings in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
  4. Once cooked, remove the wings from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
  5. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Add the lemon juice, lemon zest, hot sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and salt to the saucepan. Stir well to combine all the ingredients and let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  7. Place the cooked chicken wings in a large mixing bowl. Pour the lemon pepper wet sauce over the wings and toss until they are well coated.
  8. Serve the hot lemon pepper wet wings immediately and enjoy!
