Boudin, pronounced “BOO-dan” in Cajun country, is basically a cooked sausage made from pork, rice, various vegetables, and seasonings. Here is how to cook boudin sausage in your air fryer.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 boudin sausages
  • Cooking spray (optional)
  • INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Poke the boudin sausages in three places to break through the casings.
    2. Arrange the boudin sausages in a single layer in the air fryer.
    3. If you using a Cosori air fryer like me, then you don’t need to spray anything on the basket, because it’s already non-stick. However, if you are using another type of air fryer, you might want to spray it with some cooking spray.
    4. Set the air fryer to 400 F and cook the sausages until they are browned and no longer pink inside, about 9 to 12 minutes.
    5. Serve the sausages immediately.
