EQUIPMENT:

INGREDIENTS:
- Apple essence, 1/4 or 1/2 tsp
- One Zucchini
- Almond flour, 2 cups
- 0.5 cup of macadamia nut milk (unsweetened)
- Three tablespoons of keto sweetener (your choice)
- 1 egg
- Cinnamon, one tablespoon
- A quarter cup of sour cream
- Juice of lemon, 2 tsp
- 0.5 cup of protein powder (unflavored/vanilla)
- Salt, one teaspoon.
- 0.25 cup of water
- Melted butter (unsalted), 1/2 cup
- 2 teaspoons of xanthan gum
- Baking powder, 2.5 tsp
- A tsp of cinnamon powder
GLAZE MAKING:
- Vanilla essence, 2 tsp
- 2 tbsp. of whipping cream.
- Half a cup of keto sweetener (your choice)
INSTRUCTIONS:
APPLE-FLAVORED ZUCCHINI MIXTURE:
- Pick a little vessel & place it on your working counter.
- Include powdered cinnamon, essence of apple, Zucchini (diced), and juice of lemon (fresh).
- You can up or down the amount of apple essence according to your taste requirements.
- Mix it well & put it on the side.
Base of Donut:
- Now pick a normal-sized vessel & place it on the working counter.
- Include all the dry components in that vessel.
- Thoroughly mix them to combine well.
- In another bowl, mix all the liquid items.
- Combine a mix of solid & liquid items.
- Include the apple-flavored zucchini mixture & combine it well
- Your mixture of apple fritters is ready.
FRYING:
- Place the skillet (non-stick) on the normal flame.
- Include your choice of oil that will be enough to dip the fritters in.
- You have to lift out a quarter cup of the dough (apple fritter).
- Place it in the heated oil.
- In the same way, place the same size of dough till there is space in the pan.
- Move the oil with the help of a spoon.
- When the bottom side becomes golden brown, then turn it.
- Fry until the opposite side turns a golden brown as well.
- Dish them out from the oil once they get fried.
- Place them on the rack (wired) to come to the surrounding temperature.
GLAZE PREPARATION:
- Pick a small vessel & place it on the kitchen counter.
- Gather all the items required for glaze-making.
- In that vessel, include cream (heavy), vanilla essence, & keto sweetener.
- Mix well & spend a few seconds rotating it in the microwave to have your required consistency.
You may use the glaze in two ways:
- Drip the glaze over the apple fritters.
- You may also hold the fritter & dip its top in the glaze.
- Keep it back on the wired glaze to set.
- Your apple fritters are ready.
TIPS:
You can’t use apples in the recipe. As it is too high in carbs & not a keto fruit. You may swap the presence of apple with low-carb zucchini + apple essence. This combo will give you apple texture & flavor without disturbing your carb count.
If you want to have the perfect fluffy fritters, then the protein powder will work. It helps in raising the fritters.
STORAGE INFORMATION:
The recipe yields around 18 fritters. The sole method to complete them is to host a party at your house.
Pack the remaining fritters in the bag (paper). They will stay fresh at the surrounding temperature in this way.
