
Keto creamed chipped beef recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound thinly sliced beef (you can use beef chipped dried beef)
- 2 tablespoons butter or ghee
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum (optional, for thickening)
- Salt to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:
- Prepare the Beef:
- If you’re using dried beef, soak it in water for about 30 minutes to reduce the saltiness. Then, pat it dry and cut it into smaller pieces.
- Cook the Beef:
- In a skillet, melt the butter or ghee over medium heat.
- Add the sliced beef to the skillet and cook until slightly browned and crispy. This should take about 5-7 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.
- Prepare the Cream Sauce:
- In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer over medium heat.
- Add the garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt to taste. Stir well to combine.
- If you want a thicker sauce, sprinkle in the xanthan gum and whisk continuously until the sauce thickens. Be careful not to add too much xanthan gum, as it can make the sauce slimy if overused.
- Combine Beef and Sauce:
- Once the sauce has reached your desired consistency, add the cooked beef back into the skillet.
- Stir to coat the beef with the cream sauce and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Serve:
- Remove the skillet from heat.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
