Keto Meatball Casserole­čśÄ


For the meatballs:

  • 1 pound ground beef or a mix of beef and pork
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the casserole:

  • 1 cup low-carb marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)


  1. Preheat your oven to 375┬░F (190┬░C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients for the meatballs. Mix well until everything is evenly incorporated.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1-2 inches in diameter, and place them in a baking dish.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the marinara sauce and spread it over the meatballs.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. If you like, you can broil the casserole for an additional 2-3 minutes to brown the cheese on top.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
