Keto Ranch Salad Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried parsley)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried chives)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon dried dill)
  • 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1-2 tablespoons water (optional, for desired consistency)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise and sour cream (or Greek yogurt).
  2. Add the minced garlic, fresh parsley, fresh chives, fresh dill, or their dried counterparts.
  3. Stir in the white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar. This provides the tangy flavor typical of ranch dressing.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Start with a pinch of each and adjust according to your preference.
  5. If you find the dressing too thick, you can thin it out by adding 1-2 tablespoons of water until you reach your desired consistency.
  6. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly, and taste the dressing. Adjust the seasonings as needed.
  7. Once you’re satisfied with the taste and consistency, transfer the ranch dressing to an airtight container or a jar with a lid.
  8. Refrigerate the dressing for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
