Ingredients:
1 medium-sized cabbage
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper for extra kick
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare the cabbage:
Remove any loose or damaged outer leaves from the cabbage.
Cut the cabbage into 1-inch thick slices, creating “steaks.”
Season the cabbage:
In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
Brush both sides of each cabbage steak with the seasoning mixture, ensuring they are well coated.
Roast the cabbage:
Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown, and the cabbage is tender.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
